Binoculars require regular cleaning in order to maintain the clarity of the optics
Use the Soft-Tek microfiber cloth to wipe down the outside of the binoculars to remove any large dust particles, avoiding the lenses at this time.
Begin with the larger optics
Use the Ultra Brush to remove large dust or dirt particles, moving from the center of the lens to the outside edges.
Canned air products such as Dust Pro may also be used to remove larger dust or dirt particles
Use Premium Grade Lens Cleaning Tissue and Formula MC or LensBrite liquid lens cleaner to further clean the lens.
Place a few drops of cleaner on the tissue and rub in a circular motion from the center of the lens toward edges.
Before the liquid dries, use a dry sheet of tissue and clean in a circular motion until the fluid is gone.
Repeat as necessary and immediately replace the lens caps.
Repeat steps 2-4 on the smaller lens.
It’s recommended that you use just one piece of Premium Grade Lens Tissue folded several times to better fit the smaller lens.
With lens caps in place, wipe the binoculars once more with the Soft-Tek microfiber cloth.
Ultra Brush unique fibers are ultra-soft for cleaning the delicate surfaces of camera lenses, binoculars, telescopes and other fine optics.
Dust-Pro is a canned air, high pressure duster that is triple filtered for maximum purity.
Soft-Tek cloth has non-woven fibers with extra thickness that allow the cloth to lift away grease and dirt from lens surfaces safely and quickly.
Premium Grade Lens Cleaning Tissue has a soft and virtually lint-free texture, specifically designed for cleaning lenses and has been manufactured to Federal Specification A-A-50177B
LensBrite Liquid Lens Cleaner is specifically designed to provide anti-fog action.
Formula MC Liquid Lens Cleaner is formulated to clean without leaving residue behind on the lens. Formula MC has been tested, approved and purchased by NASA for use on manned space flights.
